Al-Yurae- – (Anatolia) – The Special Task Forces of the Sudanese army broadcast video clips documenting targeting sites and gatherings of the Rapid Support Forces in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, while the General Intelligence Service denied reports of a meeting between its director and the legal adviser to the Rapid Support in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in the past days.
The videos show the targeting of gatherings of forces near a fuel depot east of Khartoum, and other outposts in the Kober neighborhood of Khartoum North.

Meanwhile, the army announced the implementation of a qualitative operation on the concentration of Hemedti forces in the Omdurman area, which resulted in the seizure of 4 cargo vehicles loaded with a large amount of fuel and 8 small vehicles.
The army announced later on Friday evening, the killing and wounding of 17 civilians, in the shelling of the “Rapid Support” forces on neighborhoods in the Al-Thawra area in Omdurman, west of the capital Khartoum.
Army spokesman Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah said in an audio recording posted on the army’s Facebook account that “the rebel militia forces (Rapid Support) continued their violations against civilians and shelled neighborhoods in the Al-Thawra area in the city of Omdurman.”
He added: “Between 17 dead and wounded (without specifying the number of deaths), innocent citizens as a result of the indiscriminate shelling of the Rapid Support Forces on the neighborhoods of Al-Thawra in the city of Omdurman.”
For its part, the “Emergency Lawyers” organization (a human rights NGO) reported that “the Rapid Support Forces intensified their shelling on a number of neighborhoods in Omdurman, and the shelling led to dozens of deaths and injuries.”
“The Rapid Support Forces used heavy weapons and artillery shelling on residential neighborhoods in the areas of al-Thawra, al-Jarafa, al-Hatana and Wad al-Bakhit in Omdurman,” it said in a statement.
The RSF did not comment as of 21:25 (GMT).
Since mid-April 2023, the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces have been fighting a war that has left more than 5,000 dead and more than 5 million displaced and refugees inside and outside the country, according to the United Nations.
