Port Sudan- A delegation representing the World Food program and European Union has inspected the progress of work on activities and projects implemented by the two organizations in Red Sea State (RSS).
The delegation headed by WFP Deputy Coordinator in Sudan Peter Roderick, met with the Acting Wali (governor) of the state Dafaalla Al-Haj and discussed the objectives of the visit which focused on following up the implementation of activities and the programs besides tightening coordination with assisting organizations and concerned parties.
The delegation expressed thanks and appreciation for the cooperation of the government of the state on the respective matter.
On his part the state’s governor welcomed the delegation’s visit describing it as supportive to implementation of the projects, stressing keenness of the state’s government in strengthening all efforts that serve the interests of the state.
