Al-Qadarif –On Wednesday, a Sudanese official complained of “considerable pressure” from Ethiopian refugees on basic services in camps in the eastern state of Al-Qadarif.
Mohamed Abdel Rahman Mahjoub, who was quoted by the Sudan news agency SUNA, made the remarks.
“The ethiopian refugee camps in the state are a burden and a major pressure on basic services in the state bordering Ethiopia,” Mahjoub said.
He referred to what he described as “the simple support that organizations provide despite the large number of organizations in the state”.
