Sudan police justify the attack on Khartoum hospital by attacking army member

In a statement, Sudanese police in Khartoum said: “An armed forces officer was attacked in front of Khartoum hospital and his motorcycle burned, causing his leg to break and injure a police officer.”

“The demonstrations witnessed a lack of peacefulness and violence from some of the demonstrators towards the forces present,” police said in a lengthy statement, noting that there were casualties among the police and armed forces.

Three people were arrested for the murder of citizens in Omdurman, and “60 defendants” were arrested in total, the statement said
