Khartoum-Alyurae – The Ministry of Health today released a documentary video of the crimes of the security forces repeated on hospitals showing the bombing of the hall of the accidents and emergency department with tear gas and stun bombs, forcing doctors, workers, wounded and patients to escape out of the hospital to avoid suffocation
Other hospitals in the Sudanese capital have witnessed several attacks by security forces and physical abuse of medical staff treating those in critical cases coming from demonstrations, and several sources reported another attack on a hospital on 40th Street in the city of Omdurman
In another development, the Central Doctors Committee reported the death of another protester from the January 6th demonstrations today.
The Sudanese police have always denied the attack on hospitals despite the presence of clear evidence and witnesses

Sudan has been experiencing a stormy political crisis since Sudanese army commander General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan announced measures on October 25, including declaring a state of emergency and dissolving the councils of sovereignty and ministers.

Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok announced on Jan. 2 his resignation from his post in the wake of the political crisis.

The political agreement signed on Nov. 21 between Sudanese army commander General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok failed to calm the street.

A transitional authority was formed in Sudan made up of military and civilian personnel following the overthrow of Omar al-Bashir’s government on April 11, 2019.
