Zain Sudan Announces Money Transfer Service Without a Bank Account

Zain, the telecommunications company, has announced the launch of an innovative financial service called “Bede,” which enables users to conduct financial transactions without the need for a bank account or a bank card.

During a press conference held in Port Sudan, Zain revealed that the service does not require a smartphone and will be available on all types of phones, including basic devices.

The company explained that the service will be launched in three phases, which will eventually include the possibility of international money transfers, providing financing, and linking the service to all Sudanese banks.

Zain confirmed that the “Bede” service is in line with the policies of the Central Bank of Sudan to ensure compliance with anti-corruption and anti-money laundering standards, emphasizing its commitment to protecting user data and enhancing their privacy.
