Salva Kiir Announces New Foreign Minister for South: Ramadan Mohamed Abdallah Dismissed

The President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, has issued a decree dismissing the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramadan Mohamed Abdallah. He also issued another decree appointing Ambassador Mandy Siomaya Kumba as his replacement.

The new minister, Mandy Siomaya Kumba, is a graduate of the University of Khartoum and previously served as South Sudan’s ambassador to China, in addition to being the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

These changes come as part of the government’s efforts to strengthen diplomacy and enhance international relations, as President Salva Kiir seeks to improve performance in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
