The Sudanese Foreign Ministry denied report of possibility of exiling Hamas leaders to Sudan.

Al-Yurae– The Sudanese Foreign Ministry clearly denied any connection between the Sudanese government and what was reported by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz regarding the possibility of exiling Hamas leaders to Sudan.

The ministry considered that involving Sudan’s name in this matter represents an insult to the country.

It stated that it views these reports as an attempt to divert attention from the current situation in Sudan.

The ministry pointed out that Sudan is subjected to external aggression supported by known regional circles. The Sudanese position appears to aim at affirming the country’s sovereignty and its non-involvement in sensitive regional issues.

Through this denial, Sudan seeks to maintain a neutral position in regional conflicts. This stance reflects Sudan’s keenness not to get involved in issues that may negatively affect its regional or international relations, especially given the sensitive circumstances the country is currently experiencing
