Including former PM Hamdok The Attorney General: “we will pursue the leaders of (Tagadoum) and we will ask Interpol to arrest them

Port Sudan (SUNA) – Attorney General Maulana Al-Fateh Muhammad Isa Tayfour confirmed that the authorities will continue to pursue the leaders of (Tagadoum) of those who were issued arrest warrants against the background of their complicity with the rebel Rapid Support Militia, indicating that Interpol will be asked to arrest them.

Tayfour said that we will pursue Hamdok and those with him on the list of 16 people by law and anywhere until they are arrested and tried on Sudanese soil, adding that there is enough proofs and evidence that proved their involvement in what was attributed to them, and that these proofs will be presented in their confrontation before the courts

The Attorney General added in a television interview with Al Jazeera today, that Abdullah Hamdouk and his leaders of the Coordination of Civil Forces (Taqaddum) have roles divided between them and the rebellion and they are partners, pointing out that there are citizens who filed lawsuits against them and are capable of convicting them.

Tayfour said that Hamdok is on a list of 16 people wanted before justice, as well as those who come after them in the subsequent lists will be pursued. SUNA notes that the National Committee for War Crimes and Violations of the Rapid Support Forces had issued an order in April this year to arrest a number of leaders of the Coordination of Civil Forces (Taqaddum), headed by Abdullah Hamdouk, head of the Coordination.
