
Member of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Yasser Abdul Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, confirmed that negotiations with the Rapid Support Forces It is just a postponement of the battle, explaining that “negotiation means entering into security and political problems.”
During his visit to the Omdurman military region, he stressed that “there is no option for the future of the Sudanese nation and the future of the Republic of Sudan but to remove the Rapid Support Forces from the land of Sudan.”
“There will be no truce, even if the fighting lasts 100 years,” he said.
The war broke out in Sudan on April 15, April, 2023, between the army led by Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Daglo (Hemedti), in different areas of Sudan, most of which are concentrated in the capital, Khartoum, leaving hundreds of civilians dead and wounded.
