Medical supplies lost the equivalent of $ 50 million in Khartoum and the loss of 116 hospitals

Port Sudan – (SUNA) – The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham Abdel Qader, announced the loss of Sudan medical supplies worth $ 50 million in Khartoum due to the war, as well as the failure to benefit from the pharmaceutical and medical supply in the state of Gezira and the movements that were working in the field of combating epidemics, which is a loss that affected the citizen.
The minister revealed in press statements that the Minister of Health confirmed in the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Humanitarian Emergencies, that the number of hospitals operating in Sudan now 409 Out of a total of 540 Hospitals and the loss 116 Hospitals were serving the citizen.
He said that the meeting secured the continuation of the fight against epidemics and diseases and the continuation of maternal and child health programs and the need to deal with international organizations through procedures that guarantee national sovereignty, indicating that there are some indicators indicating the departure of some organizations from dealing in accordance with sovereignty and the penetration of these values and therefore must be arranged to deal according to these sovereign procedures.
