MSF: At least one child dies every two hours in Zamzam camp

DUBAI: At least one child dies every two hours in Sudan’s Zamzam camp, one of the largest and oldest camps for displaced people in the country, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said on Monday.
Claire Nicollet, MSF’s emergencies chief, said: “Before the conflict erupted in April last year, people in the camp were heavily dependent on international support for food, healthcare, clean water and everything. Now, they have been almost completely abandoned.”
