RSF: All areas under our control are open to the fact-finding mission

Ibrahim Mukhir, a member of Sudan’s RSF Advisory Office, said all RSF-controlled areas are open to the UN fact-finding mission.
The Arab World News Agency quoted Mukhir as saying that “the Rapid Support Forces welcome the work of this committee for two reasons.”
“First, we are deeply disturbed by the increase in violations by the head of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the militias fighting alongside him.” According to him.
“Secondly, we believe that this mission will absolve the RSF of allegations that he committed atrocities, which is false and the mission will help deliver justice.”

Mukhir explained that the RSF takes seriously all charges against its members and investigates them, regardless of their source.

Commander of the “Rapid Support”: We are ready to stop the war and enter into negotiations to end the crisis in Sudan

A UN mission set up by the UN Human Rights Council in October began its work on Thursday to investigate violations of human rights and international humanitarian law during the conflict in Sudan.
The mission will continue for a year, ending with investigators presenting their preliminary findings during the Human Rights Council sessions in June and July, followed by a comprehensive report in September and October.
It is noteworthy that the capital, Khartoum, and its neighboring cities have been witnessing fierce fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces since mid-April 2023, following political and security disputes, which caused the displacement of more than five million Sudanese inside and outside the country, in addition to the death of more than 5,000 civilians, which required the intervention of local and international humanitarian organizations to help those affected.
