The spokesman for the delegation of freedom and change – Central Council, Siddiq Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, explained the discussion of the Sudanese crisis and possible solutions to resolve the conflict during the meeting of the delegation of the (FFC) with the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, in Juba.
South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit met on Wednesday with a delegation of the Forces of Freedom and Change headed by Omar Al-Digeir to discuss the Sudanese crisis and possible solutions to resolve the conflict.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic of South Sudan (quoted by local newspapers), the delegation of freedom and change appealed to President Kiir to redouble his efforts to mediate peace in Sudan due to his extensive knowledge and relationship with Sudanese leaders.
The spokesman for the delegation of freedom and change – Central Council said that the meeting focused on mechanisms to end the war based on the “outcomes of the Cairo summit” and steps to unify political forces in Khartoum.
Al-Mahdi added that the meeting discussed the initiatives proposed by neighboring countries to stop the war in Sudan.
