The Revolutionary Resistance Committees renew their position rejecting the war, dissolving the RSF and holding army leaders accountable

Al-Yurae- A number of Sudanese resistance committees that signed the Revolutionary Charter of People’s Power renewed their position rejecting the war, calling in a common vision to withdraw the recognition of the Rapid Support Forces as a force with constitutional legitimacy, declare it a terrorist organization, and hold its leaders and symbols accountable inside and outside the country. It called for the isolation and accountability of army commanders and the “restoration of nationalism.”
In statement stressed the need to stop arming campaigns and calls to mobilize civilians to participate in the war, warning that these calls may lead to the formation of new militias that lead the country to more destruction.

They called for launching a broad public campaign against the war and its violations and refusing to recognize any motives for igniting it, stressing the need to limit negotiations at this stage between the warring parties to a ceasefire, and then launch a Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue to manage the post-war phase.
A number of political and civil forces, including the Alliance for Freedom and Change, are expected to announce a joint charter to restore stability in Sudan through a political settlement that establishes a ceasefire and the formation of a civilian government and a unified national army.

Fighting between Sudan’s army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), now in its sixth month, continues to escalate without either side achieving a decisive victory.
According to United Nations statistics, the number of Sudanese fleeing the hell of war has exceeded 5 million, between displaced people and refugees, under very complex humanitarian conditions. The infrastructure of the Sudanese capital Khartoum and other cities where urban warfare is raging has been widely destroyed. This makes it very difficult to determine the magnitude of the real loss of life and property, which is expected to be much greater than what has been observed so far.
