Khartoum – American Ambassador Godfrey and two companions were involved in an apparent traffic accident yesterday in the capital in Khartoum
Social media circulated the news before the embassy published a statement in Twitter confirming the news.
the tweet went to say:
“We can confirm that Ambassador Godfrey and other embassy staff were involved in a traffic accident in Khartoum, today. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Ambassador Godfrey is now resting at home. He and his team suffered minor injuries.”
As of this writing, there is no information about the other party in the incident.
