A-Yurae- Thousands of demonstrators in Khartoum, the cities of Omdurman and Bahri took part in the February 14 procession, which was called by the resistance committees yesterday under the name of “the gallows only” in rejection of the framework agreement signed between the military component of the authority and civilian forces.
Sudanese police confronted the demonstrations with a barrage of stun grenades and tear gas canisters heavily, and opened water cannons on them.
The demonstrators chanted slogans condemning the coup and their position against the framework agreement between civilians and the military, and the renewal of the covenant with the martyrs, and most of the slogans that were raised demanded retribution and the achievement of a civil state.
Many protesters assured local media representatives that the processions are continuing, and justice is one of their most important demands in the glorious December revolution.
According to witnesses, the protesters tried to reach the presidential palace, but security forces fired stun grenades and teargas canisters heavily and opened water cannons at them.
The witnesses pointed out that the demonstrators responded by throwing stones at the security forces, which led to hit-and-run cases in the main streets in the center of the capital.
