Khartoum – (SUNA) -The Court of Corruption and Violation of Public Funds headed by Maulana Al-Moez Babiker Al-Jazouli, Judge of the General Court, issues its verdict in the face of Wedad Babiker, wife of ousted President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, and who faces charges of abuses and ownership of residential lands and real estate without right, in the court session to announce its verdict next Wednesday, the twenty-ninth of November.
The Public Prosecution had opened a complaint against Wedad Babiker for violating the text of Article (7) of the Law on Combating Suspicious Illicit Wealth of 1989 AD amended 1996 AD, while the court heard five prosecution witnesses and (15) defense witnesses.
