This came at the hearing of the Fatwa Court on the Killing of Protesters today at the Institute of Judicial and Legal Sciences in the Judicial Authority headed by Maulana Zuhair Babiker Abdul Razik, Judge of the General Court.
For his part, the investigation into the case was completed by the second prosecutor of Maulana Abdul Rahim Al-Khair to present the indictment documents in the face of the defendants, the deposed President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir and his deputy Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Maulana Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, the dissolved head of the National Congress Party, and Fatih Ezz El-Din, former Speaker of Parliament
In indictment document 7-D, the third defendant, Ahmed Haroun, when he was governor of Southern Kordofan state in 2013, is seen addressing regular forces urging them to fight the rebels and that he does not want prisoners who constitute an “administrative burden” according to the video, but the defendant’s lawyer said he accepted the document in form and stated that the document had nothing to do with the lawsuit.
Document 7-e shows the fourth defendant, Fatih Ezzeddine, threatening communist, Baathist, and rogue demonstrators with beheadings if they take up arms against the regime.
But the defendant’s lawyer said the document was fragmented and did not represent the defendant’s speech.
In his statements to the defense team, the investigator explained that these documents were prepared and brought by the complainant.
