Al-Yurae- Khartoum- A detailed report by the independent (Hadhreen) organization yesterday presented shocking statistics of the victims of the crimes committed by the Sudanese security forces against peaceful demonstrators who have been coming out peacefully in protest since the coup of October 25, 2021, demanding civil rule, the return of democracy to the country and the end of military rule.
The joint security forces countered the protests with excessive violence in which prohibited weapons were used in dealing with civilians, according to several documented reports from independent medical services in Sudan.
The most recent report by (Al-Yurae) show the use of live ammunition toward peaceful demonstrators, which was preceded by the detection of the use of hunting rifles (cartridges) directly as well as the running over demonstrators with armored military vehicles.
Statistics and irrefutable evidence of deliberately hurting demonstrators
Statistics published by Hadhreen reveal the deliberately directly firing of weapons targeting individuals to inflict severe harm to the greatest number of victims and physically harm demonstrators, as the medical examinations show many injuries among victims are on the upper parts of the body, such as the head, face, chest and abdomen.

International condemnation and sanctions
The United States has imposed sanctions on Sudan’s central reserve police last month for its involvement in the killing of protesters demanding civilian rule.
Since the coup d’état carried out by the army chief in October 2021, the Reserve Police has emerged in suppressing anti-military protests, among other regular formations.
The sanctions include banning all central reserve police property and interests within or coming to America, as well as those held or controlled by Americans.
