Governor of Blue Nile issues decision to form technical committee for economic sector

Damazin (SUNA) – Lt. General Ahmed Al-Mayor Badi, Governor of Blue Nile Province, issued a decision today to form the Technical Committee for the Economic Sector headed by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Strategic Planning and the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as alternate president and director general of the Ministry of Livestock and Fish as a member and rapporteur and membership of the Director General of the Ministry of Urban Planning and Infrastructure and technical advisors to the ministries of the sector and director of the Central Bank of Sudan branch of the region and directors of government and commercial banks in the region. The decision singled out the Committee for the tasks of studying and recommending the topics referred to it from the Government Secretariat for the sector, and the specialties included any other tasks specified by the sector to the Technical Committee.

The Governor also issued another decision to form a committee to remove obstacles and threats around Damazin airport headed by the Secretary General of the Government and the Director of the General Administration of Land of the territory as a member and rapporteur and the membership of the legal adviser, executive director of damazin locality, director of the Oil Department, director of Damazin airport, representative of the police in the province, representative of the 4th Infantry Division, representative of the Rapid Support Forces, representative of the General Intelligence Service, representative of the People’s Army and director of the National Electricity Distribution Company.

The decision singled out the committee for the tasks of working to remove obstacles and threats around Damazin Airport, and the decision specified that the committee work under the supervision of the Governor to complete its work within (3) months of the date of its decision, as the decision directed the committee to use whoever it deems appropriate.
