The Central Bank of Sudan announced the first foreign exchange auction for 2022

Khartoum 4-1-2022 (SONA) The Central Bank of Sudan announced the first foreign exchange auction for 2022 on Monday, January 10, headed by the Central Bank. The auction is estimated at about 60 million US dollars and is part of efforts to stabilize the exchange rate of the Sudanese pound and enforce the policies of the Central Bank of Sudan.

The auction is limited to banks only on behalf of their customers, with the customer submitting one application through one bank with the credit code and tax number clarified. Orders made are limited to the import of goods as specified in the list of auction items. Applications are also submitted for a minimum of $20,000 per customer.
